SiggelkoIn addition to his role on the Apse Board, Dr. Siggelko also serves as a Director of Benson Hill Biosystems. Pete is a many-year veteran of the Agricultural input industry and spent most of his career in senior positions at Dow AgroSciences (DAS).  He joined Dow in 1975.  His early years in roles of increasing responsibility within the sales organization at DAS provided a “real world” foundation for his later roles in Senior Management.  He was Global Business Operations Manager for Insecticides and Fumigants from 1989 – 1991.  He was General Manager of Dow Elanco for Latin America from 1991 – 1997.  He then became VP for Weed Management and the Pacific Local Business Unit from 1997 – 1999.  From 2000 until his retirement from DAS in 2007 he was Vice president for Plant Genetics and Biotechnology, where he managed a significant R&D operation, developed three new insect resistance products, and built new business platforms around edible oils and plant-based production of animal health products.  He also led the acquisition, and integration of several seed companies and was deeply involved in resolving Intellectual Property issues. Pete’s broad Ag industry background adds critically important strategic insight into the Agricultural industry to the Apse board.
